Megumi had always been enchanted by the cherry blossoms that adorned her small town every spring. This year, however, something extraordinary happened. She decided to go pick some cherry blossoms to decorate her home, taking her woven basket and heading towards the grove. Just as she reached the trees, the sky turned a shade darker, and it began to rain. But it wasn’t ordinary rain; it was a shower of blue petals.
Awestruck, Megumi looked up and saw that the sky was filled with these ethereal blue petals, swirling in the wind as if dancing to an unheard melody. She felt a sense of serenity wash over her, as if the petals were imbued with a magical essence. Intrigued, she decided to collect some of the blue petals along with the cherry blossoms.
As she returned home, her basket filled with a mix of pink and blue, she couldn’t help but wonder about the origin of the blue petals. She decided to place them in a vase on her windowsill, separate from the cherry blossoms. Over the next few days, Megumi noticed that the room seemed to emanate a calming energy, and she felt more at peace than ever before.
Convinced that the blue petals were a gift from the heavens, Megumi made it her mission to return to the grove each year, hoping to once again witness the magical rain of blue petals and share their serenity with others.
